GLAZES

An ongoing research into using natural, locally found materials as glaze. From plant ash alone come complete, characterful glazes, each plant with its own surface, texture and colour. Shells, sand, stones and other local remnants add to this beautiful natural palette. In this way, pruning waste and leftovers turn into sustainable glazes gifted by the landscape itself.
